All reservations are charged a fifty percent (50%) deposit upon booking. The remaining balance will be charged to the credit card on file seven (7) days before guest arrival.
Every guest reservation is both important and special to us. A $100 cancellation fee per room per night will be charged for all cancellations made within fourteen (14) days of your arrival date. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than a fourteen (14) days notice, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.

The South Lamar does not have a curfew. Guests may come and go at their leisure, day and night.
Due to the age of our historic property, as well as our recent renovation, we are unable to allow the following:
The South Lamar is a smoke-free property. There will be a $300 surcharge if you are found smoking inside the premises, and your remaining reservation will be forfeited without refund. Additionally, due to the age of the property, the use of candles is strictly prohibited.
We do not allow pets. We are unable to allow any spray tanning inside the premises. We also must prohibit day-of spray tanning in our property until (1) the time limit has been reached for Guest to shower (usually 8 hours), and (2) a shower has been taken to remove all chemicals and residue. While we want all of our Guests and Brides to enjoy all plans they have while staying with us, spray tanning leaves residue and damages furniture, bath linens, bed linens, etc. Here at The South Lamar, we pride ourselves on providing our Guests beautiful furnishings and high-end, luxurious Italian linens, and the residue and chemicals from spray tanning stains and ruins our furniture and linens. Any damage due to spray tanning must be charged to Guest before checkout.
Also due to the age of our historic property, we cannot allow any flushable wipes in our toilets. Please only flush provided toilet paper.
When a Guest reserves the entire Bed & Breakfast for their stay (all five Suites), please discuss any planned meals/outside catering, happy hours, receptions, etc. with Owners at least two weeks prior to arrival. Thank you for your understanding, as we are located in a Historical Residential District and have a guest capacity limit we must adhere to. We also have preparations to make in order for your stay to be the absolute best in Oxford!!
